This is Mabry Mill, a historic site near Meadows of Dan, Virginia, just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. I’d found this photo and loved it enough to paint it. Then last summer we were traveling in the area and were able to visit the site; it is as lovely as it appears! The painting is in acrylics and measures 14×20″. This photo does not do justice to the clarity and vibrancy of the colors!
