This lovely rose was painted in my early days and represents a tremendous leap in my painting skills. Oh, there’s so much to learn about shading and blending those petals! Especially when using acrylic paints as I did here. Truly it was a labor of love and I am reluctant to part with it…actually, I think I won’t but I will keep it here in my gallery for your viewing pleasure!
